About this installer
- New installations and updates from MPM 3.1.17 or later to 3.2.15.
- When upgrading, all settings remain and are carried over to the new version, but be sure to back up your media information before updating, just to be safe.
- When upgrading, option values may be reset. When updating, keep a record of the option setting values in the version in use, and if the values are reset after the update, set them again. We plan to correct this issue in the next version.
- In case you are using older version than MPM3.1.17, please download MPM3.1.17 Update installer and update to 3.1.17 before use this update tool.

Functional improvement
MPM3 can now be operated by standard users.
- License authentication is possible only with administrative privileges. Please use one of the following methods to activate your license. Even if you are signed in with an administrator account, please use one of the following methods.
- Select the MPM3 shortcut icon on the desktop, right-click, and select “Run as administrator” from the menu that appears. If you click the MPM3 icon as it is, an error message such as “The requested operation requires elevation” will appear, the license authentication screen will not appear, and MPM3 will not start.
- From the Windows Start menu, select [MimakiProfileMaster3] > [License Activation].
End of OS support
Support for Mimaki driver 32bit version ended on March 16, 2023.
Along with this, MPM3 support for Windows 10 32bit will be ended.
Install are possible, but operation is not guaranteed.
Notes for RasterLink
The device profile and emulation profile created by MPM3 is v3.5 as profile version. Supporting v3.5 profile and RasterLink is as follows.

Restrictions of this version
When selecting an ink set including Orange / Green, test printing cannot be executed except creating / editing an ICC profile.
When you select i1iO3 with i1Pro3 PLUS as a colorimeter, there are the following restrictions:
- Following cannot be executed for the ink set including Orange and Green:
- Device profile creation
- Color matching features （Calibration, Equalization, Emulation）
- Rotation cannot be specified when printing a chart for colorimetry with an ink set including Orange.
When you select i1iSis as a colorimeter, there are following restrictions:
- Emulation function cannot be used.
- Following cannot be executed for the ink set including Orange or Green:
- Device profile creation
- Color matching features (Calibration, Equalization, Emulation)
When updating from MPM3.2.14 or earlier to MPM3.2.15, the values of the following options may be reset. When updating, record the values of the options in the version you are using, and set them again if the values are reset after the update.

For Ethernet connection：
- If you click [Cancel] while printing a chart or other output to the printer, the cancellation process may take up to 15 minutes. Please do not click [Cancel] if possible.

- This software must not be copied against the provisions of this agreement.
- This software must not be changed or reverse engineered. Moreover, it must not be transferred, leased or sublicensed to the third party. The status of this agreement must not be transferred, either.
- This software must not be transferred, licensed or resold to the third party or transferred, licensed or purchased from it by rental or false rental activity.
- This software must not be transferred or licensed to the third party or purchased from it as secondhand goods.
Article 3 Limitation of Warranty
- It is not warranted that functions contained in this software suit the intended use of the customer.
- This software should be selected and introduced in the customer’s responsibility: any damage in installing this software in the computer’s hard disk and the plotter’s memory is not covered.
- We accept no responsibility for any results of the use of this software (including lost earnings or profits).
Article 4 Term of Validity
- The term of validity of this agreement starts when the customer installs this software.
- When the customer decides to stop using this software, this agreement is automatically terminated.
- This agreement is terminated immediately, without our notice, if the customer does not follow any clause of this agreement. If this agreement terminates, the whole of this software must be deleted.
